My name is Laurie and I have a passion for fitness. It wasn't always like that. As you can see from my "before" photo; I wasn't much of a body model. In fact, I wasn't very happy with myself back then at all. I was tired all the time. I always had a cold, a sore throat or some mysterious ache or pain. I was depressed and miserable.

Then one week I decided that I needed to make a major life change. So I joined a gym, started charting my food intake and began taking supplements. Literally, a few months later, my life had completely changed.

Today, I have kept with my fitness "program" and I couldn't be happier. I have a great job in fitness. I fly all over the country making promotional appearances at national auto races. And I can always find pictures of myself in various national magazines. Most importantly, though, my health has improved ten-fold. I am super energetic and feel so vibrant and alive.

The changes were actually pretty simple to make once I learned how. First, I followed a high protein, low carbohydrate and low fat diet. Second, I started doing treadmill work and learned how to train with weights. Finally, I began taking protien powders and glutamine in the morning and GABA before bed .
