Jennifer is a highly successful fitness entrepreneur and the owner of Betterbodz and Essential Nutrition international wholesale distribution company. She has hundreds of satisfied trainees who have traded in fat physiques for fit, happy lifestyles. You won't believe it from looking at her, but before finding "fitness", Jennifer was well over 200 lbs. herself. Today, at 36 years old she is putting her electrical engineering and computer telecommunications backgrounds to work helping to change people's appearance and attitudes worldwide. Although she does not have the time necessary to pursue a full time modeling career, one look will tell you that she receives countless calls monthly to show the world just how powerful a completely natural shape can be.

People see me and tell me that I look the way I do because I have great genetics. Or that I probably always looked like this. Yea, right! Those of you who know me are aware what the old me looked like Jennifer before/after There was only 6 months between those pictures. How did I do it?
Diet: When I was heavy I was eating a very low calorie diet (less than 1,000) that consisted of mainly carbohydrates. I increased my calories a little and shifted my protein and fat higher while reducing substantially my carb intake. If I want to cut fat I know now I need a minimum of 30-40% protein in my diet. And it;s fun because I am not running away from foods with fat in them. Too many carbohydrates is the real enemy.
Training: When I was heavy I was very active and played quite a lot of golf. When I found fitness I began to run on a treadmill and I started to use the cross trainer 3-4 times a week for 20-30 minutes. After a month, the weights started intriguing me and I began to workout 4 times a week using body part splits and 10-12 reps per set.
Supplements: When I was heavy I took nothing. What an error. I saw the value of supplements almost immediately. To lose the weight I took a very simple approach. 5 grams of GABA before bed and 1,000 mcgs. of Chromium Picolinate. Today, I take 2 grams of GABA nightly, 600 mcgs. of Chromium, 3-5 grams of glutamine, 1 Salon Formula from In Shape as well as 40 grams of Predator Triple Protein from NVE daily.
